Visiting RNLI lifeboats at Wicklow

Over the years many different types of lifeboat have visited Wicklow , some were brand new on delivery passages to a station, while others were returning home after refits .
1985 - 1989
Donaghadee's new Arun class RNLB CITY OF BELFAST ( 52-33 ) leaves Wicklow , to continue her delivery passage north.

Kilmore Quay's ' Oakley ' RNLB LADY MURPHY ( 37 - 26 ) stopped overnight at Wicklow, while on passage to Wales for a overhaul.

The relief fleet Tyne RNLB GOOD SHEPARD ( 47 - 012 ) arrived in Wicklow for launch trials on the new slip built for RNLB ANNIE BLAKER, which was expected to arrive a week later.
