Wicklow
lifeboats launched at 2pm on New Years day for the Annual Service of
Remembrance and wreath laying in Wicklow bay, the ceremony is held to honour all
desceased Lifeboat members , Wicklow Sailors and all associated with the sea. A short religious service was held before the wreaths were transferred to
the inshore lifeboat and launched into Wicklow
bay.
Coxswain Nick Keogh and Operations Manager Des Davitt congratulate Shorecrew member Brian Heffernan on receiving his 20 year Service badge at Wicklow RNLI Lifeboat Station.
RNLB SHERINGHAM SHANTYMEN heads out into Wicklow bay.
Crew members Tommy Murphy , Carol Flahive and Helm Liam Kavanagh launch the wreaths into Wicklow bay.
